My old 16 Thread-PC gets 384 WU. Fine. It is crunching for for the project since years.. My new 32 Thread PC was added yesterday new to the project. He got 32 WUs. Now after 118 valid WUs and many 100 more in validation I still get only about 32 WUs. I have set 4+4 days and its running 24h/7d. Is there any newbie-phase until the PC is trusted by the project? If so, how long is it? Best Regards Magiceye |

My old 16 Thread-PC gets 384 WU. Fine. It is crunching for for the project since years.. I don't remember so when I started adding more hosts. There appears to be a 1536 task limit though no matter how many cores you have in a host. I have found that the project limits me to around 725 tasks on my 32 core host. 1000 tasks on my 48 core host. They may have changed that lately. Also your new host might still be "untrusted" till more results are verified. A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Funfact: When I set my number of CPUs to 1024, I get 1024 WUs. So there seems to be no host limit, only a core limit. |

I have added another host with the same problem: https://universeathome.pl/universe/results.php?hostid=593085 All hosts with the problem are running Ubuntu20.04LTS. The only host without the problem has the older Ubuntu 18.04LTS. I hope, this host does not get the problem, when I update Ubuntu in the next weeks... |

I have found the problem. All PCs were in the same profile "none". But the PCs got different settings from the project. The old PC got Prio=1 and the new PCs got Prio=--. After creating a new profile with prio=11 it works now. So the problem is the profile that was not updated on one PC. |
